Meet the Owner
“Over the years I have watched former athletes of mine successfully play in college, become coaches and even start their own volleyball clubs. While that does my coaching heart wonders, nothing will ever compare to the feelings I have watching my kids succeed in their professional careers, personal relationships and flourish in their communities. Having a front row seat to witness that kind of growth will always be one of my greatest blessings and something I will never take for granted!”
— Cheyenne Vaca
While the club is brand new, Cheyenne certainly is not when it comes to club volleyball and all it entails. She brings a high level of training to the sport of volleyball with a decade of coaching experience and a year of director experience. As a former college and club athlete, Cheyenne is motivated and dedicated to bringing the best possible experience to athletes who are looking for a competitive environment to grow as a player and as a young adult.
Cheyenne played collegiate volleyball at Greenville University as a 6-rotation outside hitter. Before playing collegiately, she played both high school and club volleyball. She was a 4-year varsity starter at Salado High School where she earned numerous honors. She played club volleyball for 6 years at Pure Energy Volleyball, Austin Juniors Volleyball and Roots Volleyball (formerly known as Texas Eclipse Volleyball).
Cheyenne started her coaching career at the young age of 16 by giving private lessons to junior high students. This is where she discovered her love and passion for coaching. She continued this passion, while in college, coaching for H2 Volleyball in St. Louis, Missouri. Following her collegiate career, Cheyenne returned to Texas and coached at Texas Legends Volleyball and CTX Slam Volleyball, where she was also the director. Aside from coaching her club teams she has continued giving private lessons, advising at local clubs and coaching skills camps for various local high schools.
Cheyenne’s greatest joy as a coach is watching her athletes succeed athletically, but more importantly, personally.
